“Girls can be really, really mean.” How many times have you thought, felt, or said that? So many women I work with – me included – have deeply seeded sisterhood wounds. So many women I connect with share that they were isolated, rejected, teased, and even bullied by the girls we thought were our friends when we were younger. It’s painful, embarrassing, and has long lasting impacts. It’s one of them many reasons why the work we do here at PurposeGirl is so important: to heal the wounds of sisterhood and learn how to lift other women up from a place of authenticity and joy.

Because sister, there’s enough of everything – clients, money, time, joy, leadership, opportunity, connection, and more – for ALL of us. Your success is not at the deficit or loss of another woman, it is to HER benefit, too! Just like her success is yours.

So sisters, in this episode of The PurposeGirl Podcast, I’m fortunate to be joined by Molly Galbraith, cofounder of Girls Gone Strong (GGS), the world’s largest platform providing evidence-based, interdisciplinary health, fitness, nutrition, and pregnancy education for women and the health and fitness professionals who work with them.

In this episode, Molly and I dig into:

  • How we all have likely been on the receiving and giving side of a Sisterhood wound, and how that can be reversed in adulthood.
  • The fact that much of our society creates a false sense of scarcity for leadership and “success”, which leads to the development of a false hierarchy amongst women, that ultimately creates a system of competition.
  • Tools you can use to turn your jealousy and comparison into inspiration and opportunity.
  • Some details about Molly’s brand new book!
